A monthly somatic skills group practice space
Weaving together psychoeducation, nervous system regulation, real-time practice and community support, this group is a place to:
Build and practice skills to help regulate your nervous system, especially in moments that feel unbearably anxious, or moments when you find yourself stuck, frozen and disconnected
Develop and hone your practice of learning how to be with your experience through the ups and downs that life presents; being with your emotions and bodily sensations rather than avoiding, numbing or being taken over by critical thoughts and stories
Deepen your attunement to the felt sense, strengthening the connection between mind & body, and getting more clarity on what steps come next in your ever-emergent process of healing and growing
Have a safe container to practice showing up for yourself in an embodied way, and share in community with others who are doing this work right alongside of you.

What you can expect this group to be like
The general structure:
Each group will begin with a short intro to each other, and the intentions of this space
We’ll co-create some group boundaries and agreements in order to help this group feel as safe and supportive as possible.
We’ll spend about 10-15 minutes learning about a specific somatically-oriented practice or framework, building understanding about why and how this particular tool is helpful to have in your toolbox
And then we’ll spend a spacious chunk of time “trying on” and practicing that somatic skill together.
To close, we’ll have a short period of group share (sharing is optional, never mandatory), I’ll invite you to do some embodied integration of what you just learned and then we’ll say our goodbyes till next time.
I offer this group on a pay-what-you-can basis, honoring that financial accessibility varies for all. You can join for as little as $10.
Group is an hour and 30 minutes long, and I kindly ask that you show up on time, and stay till the end, so as not to disrupt the flow of group.
This group is held via Google Meets. Please be sure you’re familiar with Google Meets prior to joining the call to ensure your audio and video can function properly.
This group is recorded, with the exception of the period for “group share” after our practice time. I will turn the recording off at that time.
If you are unable to join live, I will email the replay within 24 hours of the call for you to watch in your own timing.
For confidentiality & group safety purposes, I will ask all participants to turn on their video and/or audio at the beginning of group to say hello and verify that you’re human. 👽 After that, you can let your body lead and turn your camera on/off as needed.
